This book is based on the recollections of Lt CDr Geoffrey Holder-Jones (now 95 years old) and is set in World War II, where he took part in the beating of the U-boat blockade off the American coast. After the war, Geoffrey settled in the Brighton area and became headmaster at St Andrew’s School in Hove.
