Barbados Bu'n-Bu'n

Bu’n-Bu’n pronounced ‘bunbun’ is an old Barbadian colloquialism for the layer of coagulated goodness and/or sweetness stuck to the bottom of the pot after cooking, usually kept back for the culinary delight of special family members or guests.

This set of two volumes by the famous Caribbean chef Rosemary Parkinson comes in a boxed set and is filled with beautiful colour photography of the island and its culinary produce.

Parkinson takes us on her culinary adventure with her prose and stories gathered from local people
